My artwork is Ned Kelly and the words “such is life” under it.
My artwork is made for privileged people because they treat people differently because they have everything they want while others do not.
I made my stencil by getting an image off the internet of Ned Kelly and cutting it out and making my own stencil that said “such is life”.
I chose Ned Kelly and “such is life” because the rich need to stop treating the poor differently because they are poor, and Ned Kelly is a symbol of sticking up for poor people.
My goal was to make an art piece with Ned Kelly and show what an amazing man he was and how he stole from the rich and gave it to the poor, so they have a chance to live.
My goal as an artist is to make art pieces that represent a king back in the day when Ned Kelly was alive.
Why I chose to do this I did this because I felt like people in our day and age treat poor people differently because they are not as rich as other people in the world.
What I learnt in creating this is how to not get so much over spray and how to keep the paint even on the image. The final piece is what I thought it would be like, but I thought it would have more shine and brightness. I like how the “such is life” turned out, I thought it was not going to be as good as what it turned out to be.
