The title of my artwork is “the recyclable turtle.”
My artwork looks like a turtle swimming in the ocean, I used rubbish to make the body of the turtle.
The subject matter of my artwork Is a turtle that is made of recycled cardboard from a shapes box and rope that I found in the back yard.
The elements and principles of my artwork are line shape and colour.
The elements and principles of my art works is line to show the outline of my turtle, shape to show my turtle and colour to show the blue of the ocean and the green of the turtle.
My artwork was a mixed media it was a mixture of sculpture and painting.
The tools I used were a paint brush hot glue gun and PVA glue.
My artwork was inspired by global warming and sea animals getting sick by pollution.
My artwork expresses the environmental issues of pollution and global warming
The emotions that I tried to show is sadness because I wanted people to change.
My artwork did not reach the goals in my artist intension because I didn’t have enough bottle because I was going to fill my page with bottle caps.
The artwork did help me to reach my goal because my goal was to have a message to not pollute, and I think I reached that.
I can use this artwork as a stepping-stone to improve my skills in sculpting and painting.
In my artwork I have learnt how to make art out of rubbish and how to show messages.
The final piece didn’t turn out how I thought because I thought I was going to have more bottle caps.
This artwork will influence me by helping me how to make a message in my artwork.
