NTPFES Smart Sparx Program Visits Leanyer
On Friday 8 September our Leanyer Campus was visited by Mandy Foord, Community Engagement Officer, Fire Unit, . Mandy presented the Smart Sparx fire safety program to the Transition, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. The students learnt all about the importance of safe behaviour around fires, the emergency phone number, and the ‘Stop, Drop, Cover, Roll’ rule. By the end of the session they had all memorised the chant: ‘Crawl down low; go, go, go!’
