No Stalling For Year 5 Learners
Thanks so much to our Leanyer Campus Year 5 students for providing this wonderful learning report. Well done on your stalls and thank you for donating funds raised to a fabulous cause. Absolutely marvellous!
In Week 8 of Term 2, 5DS had some stalls to take action at the end of our Unit of Inquiry ‘How we organise ourselves.’ We had one hour to set up our stalls and then classes came and bought our products, such as jumping paper frogs, water coloured painting, bookmarks, cups, cup and ball games, mini golf along with food.
We were really nervous but excited. But it was lots of fun. It helped us with our maths and counting. We had to communicate, collaborate and develop the skill of taking risks. It turned out to be exciting and interesting. At some points it was crazy because students were lined up to buy from our stalls.
We would like to thank the community for supporting us. We raised $245.10. This will be donated to support children at Darwin Royal Hospital.
